Here is a great way to doctorate a cake box mix into sugar cookies. It’s really easy and convenient and the best part is that the cookies come out delicious! You can technically use any flavor mix for this hack but I’ve personally have only tried the strawberry mix.
Things you will need:
1 box of strawberry cake mix
1/4 cup cream cheese
1/4 cup crisco shortening
1 egg
Mix cream cheese and shortening together. Add cake mix and egg. Continue to mix until it all comes together into a ball of dough. Roll, cut and bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool down before decorating. Enjoy!
