Finding Storage

Have you ever had the problem of too much bedding and not enough storage for it? I know I have! (Yes, I am raising my hand guys!) It’s mostly been because we have always lived in apartments and most of the time they have almost had non-existent storage space and even now in the house that we are in, we still have this problem. We love everything about the house but definitely wish it had more storage. See the house was built in 1986, so either people didn’t have much to store back then or it just wasn’t something that they did put much thought into at the time and of course now we have to deal with it and find solutions for these types of problems.

So, what options does one have when you are limited to storage for all your bedding and even those extra beach towels we purchased that we have yet to use? Because let me tell you, our hallway “closet” only consist of two very small cabinets and only like three things actually fit in it. Our easy fix came in a shape of a bed guys! Yes, you heard that right, a bed, how genius is this!!? Seriously the most genius idea ever am I right! Our bed frame is literally our extra storage. There is plenty of room for all of our extra linen, towels and some. No one would ever be able to tell by just looking at this bed. That’s how great this frame with storage looks! Anyone I know would just say, “Oh that’s a very nice fancy looking bed”. The compartments  are very sturdy and plenty can fit in them. I love that they are so easy to open and close as well. Another plus for us is that the girls cannot get into them. Because we all know how curious toddlers can be at times.

This frame is from DHP, Rose Upholstered Platform Bed (In grey) which you can also find on Amazon for such a great deal. This bed not only does it look very stylish but it is also great quality. It was very easy to set up and like I have mentioned before our main reason for this bed was the storage compartments! (Which have been life savers.) It comes with four storage drawers, two on each side of the bed. If you are looking for something that will save you room and space this is defitnely the bed to go with! I wish we would have had this frame all along because I cannot tell you enough how many times I did not know where to store all of our extra bedding. This bed frame has literally been the best thing that has happened to us and all of our bedding!

What are some things you do when you have no storage for extra bedding you might have around? Have you thought of maybe upgrading your bed frame? Let me know your thoughts on this, I would love to hear them.

Xoxo,

Maggie
