Bedroom Update

There’s nothing like going to bed and waking up to fresh new covers. Especially now that it’s officially fall season and it’s cool down here in Southern California.

(*Thank you Croscill for sponsoring this post. All opinions are 100% my own.)

Every fall and summer I love to change up our room. I tend to stay within the same patterns and colors since our furniture is dark. So you will usually find fifty shades of gray in there. I decided to take the plunge this time and do a nice ivory tone because I’m not sure I can commit to white quite yet with two little girls running and crawling around. I got this beautiful Heatherly Ivory Quilt from Croscill. It’s is literally perfect for us. It keeps us warm enough without burning us up. I love how soft and comfortable it is and that it has a waves texture. I almost feel like Im at a hotel.

Then come these amazing 400 count thread sheets with pillow shams! Guys my life has forever changed!!! I am a believer and will never go back to being basic. I matched the quilt set with the 400TC Ivory Paisley from Croscill as well. I’m telling you guys these are amazing and are great quality that I’m even getting the white set as back up! You guys have to checkout their amazing selection of other bedding products.

With that change I also decided to add some gold into the mix. I added the Eiffel Tower statue that actually defuses a lavender scent to relax us at night time. It’s also a great accent piece because we all know how much I love Paris! On the other night stand I added a gold catch all tray and a picture of our wedding. That frame cost me 2 bucks believe it or not at a goodwill. (Yay for great finds!) I also added a candle because I’m obsessed with them and who isn’t really!?

Last but not least these lights behind the bed definitely give it that final touch to revamp our old boring room for this holiday season. I think it gives the whole room a nice touch and it flows perfectly with everything else.

Do you guys change bedroom bedding throughout the year? How often? And what are some of your favorite things to have on your night stands? I’m definitely interested to know.

Xoxo,

Magaly
