Mommy and Me Vegas Trip

(*Thank you Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Desert Club Resort  for hosting us. All opinions are 100% my own.)

The beginning of summer for us started with a little girl’s trip to Las Vegas. And when I say girls’ trip, I mean me, my mom and my daughters. Funny right! But who would have known that Las Vegas fun is not just for adults but for families as well? Let me tell you the girls till this day are still raving about it.

I’m not going to lie to you guys I was a bit scared to take a road trip with just us girls. The first reason was because I could not see myself doing this without Steven and second of all have you met my kids!?!!? They are the most energetic duo ever but to my surprise the trip went better than what I expected. I did come prepare with their favorite snacks, toys and of course their tablets. The ride up to Vegas took us a total of 4 hours with a couple of stops. I had not done this ride since I was 22, I think but for some reason this was definitely a whole different experience. We sang along to all of our favorite Disney songs and played ‘I spy with my little eye”, then the girls watch a movie a two till we arrived there.

Once we got to Vegas we headed straight to our hotel, The Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Desert Club Resort where we were hosted and greeted by the sweetest people ever. Our 2-bedroom apartment was absolutely perfect! The girls were beyond excited and of course asked to be taken to the pool right away. A few things that stood out to me about this place was the cleanliness of it and all its amenities. It really felt like we were home and we had everything to our disposal. For me as a mom of two toddlers, I really appreciated it because we know spills happen sometimes and the fact that we had a washer and dryer in our apartment made a huge difference.

The resort if located a block away from the main strip in Las Vegas. They have shuttles that will take you there if you don’t want to walk. I also loved that they have different activities throughout the day. #CampWannafunna activities are planned out for all ages and include movie nights, magic shows, live music, life-size games and even s’mores. The girls and I enjoyed ourselves so much the weekend we spent there that I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Seeing them happy in the pool and participating in all these different activities makes The Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Desert Club Resort the perfect place for any family to stay in.

Now I can say that I had a girl’s weekend in Vegas with my girls! It was seriously such a great way to start our summer and I love that I can make these memories with them. What are some of your favorite things to do in Vegas? Especially when you’re there with your family? Make sure you guys check out The Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Desert Club Resort if you’re planning a trip out there.
