Decorating Easter Cupcakes with HERSHEY®

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of HERSHEY® for SheSpeaks. All opinions are 100% mine.

Easter has become more special now that we have the girls. I love making them their Easter baskets and adding some of their favorite candy to fill these adorable plastic eggs. But what I mostly love doing with them is making desserts that we all can enjoy decorating together and then, of course, eating them! Read along to find out how easy it is to decorate your own treats with REESE’S and Cadbury candy.

My go-to every year for Easter are cupcakes. They are so easy and simple to make and there’re endless ways to decorate them with some of our favorite REESE’S and Cadbury candy. Plus, they are always everyone’s favorite! All you will need to do is make or buy plain cupcakes. I personally love baking, so these were homemade. I also made the frosting from scratch but you can also purchase already made frosting to make things easier and quicker. We picked up our REESE’S and Cadbury candy from Walmart and can use Walmart Grocery Pickup.

This year I decided to go with little Easter basket cupcakes. I am obsessed with how they turned out! I used Cadbury Shimmer Mini eggs, REESE’S Peanut Butter Eggs and REESE’S Eggs to decorate the cupcakes. Once you have baked your cupcakes, all you’ll need to do is frost them, you can use dried coconut, which is optional (I dyed mine green to give it the grass effect), and the REESE’S and Cadbury candy of your choice to finish decorating. As you can see this is absolutely simple to do and it makes the cupcakes look great! I decorated a few of the eggs with the leftover frosting and used sprinkles to top them off!

You can make this an Easter tradition with your family. Use sprinkles, icing to decorate chocolate eggs and use them as toppings for those delicious cupcakes you make! Or you can just decorate the REESE’S Eggs to your liking! Click here ( smarturl.it/BeSoEggstra ) to shop for these goodies at Walmart.com. Tell me what you think and also what other ways will you use REESE’S and Cadbury candy this Easter?

XOXO,

Maggie
